Wheel Chair:

To help the students who are differently able the buildings are constructed in the campusin such a way that students can climb the stairs through lift facility. In addition ramps arealso constructed beside the stair case. Wheel chair facility is also available in the college.


Electric Buggy

Final Year students of Mechanical Engineering (2013-2017) batch have developed an Electric Buggy Car specially designed to help the persons with physical disability (Divyangjan).The Electric Buggy helps the Divyangjan people to travel from the main gate to the respective blocks of the college without any difficulties .It is quite less expensive as it does not consume diesel or petrol. It runs on the battery power.

Battery operated Electric hybrid car :

A battery operated Electric hybrid car was designed and developed by Department ofMechanical students of St. Martin’s engineering college. It is being used for theTransportation of differently- abled students in the campus.
The advantages of hybrid cars are the ability to save ability to save fuel which ultimatelyreduces the dependence on foreign fuel. They are environmental friendly because theyemit lesser toxic gas and that helps in overcoming the serious environmental problemslike climate change and global warming.

Provision For Lift

The capacity of the lift 06 allows for transport of various people, resources and other merchandise. Also an auxiliary power source is available for the lift.

Ramp / Rails

The ramps are built along the stair-cases at the nodal points of the campus for the transport of machinery and for the conveyance of wheel chairs as well as other trolleys.

The college management has empathy for Divyangjan hence they have made special provision at the parking space for parking vehicles of the differently- abled people at J.C Block, Ramanujan Block and M.G Block
